Object on the wall called Enjoy Your Time is a part of the installation We Like Them More than Gems, They Are Worthier to Us than Gold, which was created at the 17. Mikulov Art Symposium „workshop“ 2010. Irena Jůzová asked contemporary visual artists, participants of the symposium (Milena Dopitová, Irena Jůzová, František Kowolowski, Petr Lysáček, Petr Písařík, Tereza Velíkova, Michaela Vrbková) to leave their imprint in the pre-prepared grey substance. The silver surface of the resulting commemorative tile refers to the stellar dust, which is said to abduct every living being. Shakespearean like a fairy tale quote is also faced with nihilistic – thou art dust and thou dust shall return. It is this ambivalence between fame and oblivion, between becoming dust, funeral remembrance, monuments and eternally living presence creates a space into which the author places the black inscription Enjoy your time. There is present as a memento mori, a reminder of brevity and transience of life, as the title of the article in a glossy lifestyle magazine.
